You're supposed to you their application, "MYDSC_905C.app". If  
MYDSC_905C.app won't work, I think you're out of luck in OS X.

You should probably use a windows PC to use to download the photos.  
Once they're downloaded, it's easy to move them to the Mac.

You're correct, my mistake. When you unstuff duplicates it makes the  
2nd copy with a different numerical ending. I stupidly created not one  
or two copies, but six copies, which were called "905C OSX10.1" thru  
"905C OSX10.6". I mistakenly assumed that 10.1 would be the original,  
and the others were all duplicates. Interesting that when then  
original has a .3 at the end, StuffIt creates a .1, and then .2, and  
then skips the original and proceeds higher for each successive  
duplicate.
