If you don't mind dealing with a converted PC card the GeForce
6200/256 MB or GeForce 7800GS/512 MB will run in the Digital Audio and
perform well with Leopard. The only drawback to these cards is a 2
minute boot delay while the temperature sensor warms up and kicks in
(there are some custom ROMs available that disable the temp sensor). I
don't think the Radeon 9000 is much of an improvement over the ti4600.
I don't use OS 9 anymore so I don't know how these cards would perform
with your older system; I did start up in OS 9 with the GeForce 6200
once so I know it will at least boot.
