Perhaps I'm flogging a old tired horse.

The DA does have a CPU upgrade; It's a PL 800 MHz with fast L2 and L3
caches, which accordingly makes it as fast as a 1 GHz. I'll have to
fiddle with things when I get some time. I got the wrong SATA
connector for my
drive I just ordered. So, I can't install my new WD drive coming in
from newegg. - It's the Seritek SCS1. I thought it was for using SATA
on ATA bus, but it's for ATA/ IDE on SATA. Now I'm skewered. Maybe
I'll just go back to my eMac and give this box to my kids. Maybe. The
eMac is way faster than this old thing and I can't just keep pouring
money into it as it's going further behind by the minute. I have the
media for the eMac and I can dual boot... I dunno. This is getting a
little bizarre. Sorry. I'm growing weary of all this money invested
into something so slow. I've got a long week ahead of me. Maybe I'll
be more positive about this when I figure out what I'm going to do.
10.5 still has a couple more years at least, I think. Maybe 3 at the
most with Mozilla and Safari 4-? PPC.
