Am curious as to why the charge, outside of labor for hire. Power supplies
on these units (the QS) are no harder than earlier models; in fact the QS is
the last model where the PSU (power supply) is fairly easy to replace
(unlike the MDDs and beyond). Instructions are easy to find online
(try this:

If you've never done this, and are simply more comfortable having an
experienced other performing the task for assurance sake, then that's
understandable - Quicksilvers are worth it!
