It really bugs me that apps like Audion can play music without any big annoying load on an older Mac, but then iTunes requires 2 to 4x the cpu of even QuickTime Player (which can be 2x the load of Audion). QuickTime is bad but then iTunes is the grody poster child for bad software implementation, IMO.
