Ah, Defender. Actually that's one of the games I have on my Atari now. I
also have Pac-Man, SpaceInvaders, Combat and a whole bunch of others. One
that I'd like to see made accessible is Adventure. My brother used to play
that one and it used to drive me crazy when I'd try it and the dragon would
get me.
It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.

Hi,
I think for me while the Atari games were only 2D no 3D anything to them
they had huge appeal and replay value to them back then. They were fun
for many reasons. They didn't have stellar graphics and sound, but the
story lines and game play was fun. Which is the only thing that really
counts.
I guess what Michael is missing is some nostalgia. Allot of us never got
to play them, or did play the games and can not do it any longer do to
our blindness.
I use to sit for hours playing Defender, Combat, Pacman, Space Invaders,
UFO, Xaxon, and never got tired of them. I certainly would like to play
them again.
