Hi Shaun, Yes, OpenAL is an awesome audio library. As I mentioned in a previous post to the list I am strongly looking into adopting it as part of the Evolution Engine once I have time to put the work into it. From a 3d point of view Directsound etc can not hold a candle to it. I don't have any personal experience with Free SL ore Pure Basic, but sounds interesting.
