Hi people. I know there are some very interesting muds out there, and when I escape from university network tyrrany I'll gladly take people's recommendations.
As far as my connection to the university network goes, I admit I don't know a lot about the technical aspects of these things, but I believe I'm already! connected to a proxy server, (the one down the road in the university It center), and have to be in order to actually get online with my Pc. Also, the network has this irritating habbit of not only blocking quite a few ports, but enforcing port blocking rules in Mcaffi, ---- any attempts by me to change Mcaffi's settings (or to install any other antivirus program), will simply be changed back by the network automatically in a matter of minutes, ---- the It staff are absolutely paranoid about viruses!
