Hmmm Well, when I was huge into mudding on AA I really wasn't able to enjoy the brutal descriptions because I wanted to be good, and being good meant moving quick and thinking quicker. I made all sorts of modifications to my dictionary manager and set up sound triggers so the game could be played faster, and in the end the game was in a language only I could understand. I loved it that way because I was able to move faster, but the reason I love sryth is that I can enjoy the goblin's head rolling across the ground and striking a nearby tree instead of..;. you knock... massacre! massacre! the goblin's face explodes in a ... tells the group, 'your going too slow" Heh, I like to hack and slash when I'm mad though so I suppose mudding is a double edged sword.
