Hi Jeremy, I don't think there is any specific tactic for using the different roll types, but I generally switch if one roll type isn't giving me a high roll value. For example if I do a normal roll and I only get a 5. I might switch to a defensive attack roll hnext time in hopes of rolling a higher value and get a better defensive roll for protection. The main diferences between the rolls is that agressive rolls give you little on defence from enemies but you can render some serious damage if you get a good roll, but a defensive roll will give you usually a higher defensive roll, but average attack rolls. Normal rolls is the sort of middle road giving equal attack and defensive rolls on the dice. That said if you have a good stamina with plenty of armour you might want to go agressive as you probably have the stamina to take hits, and a good agressive roll will cut down your enemies quicker. If your stamina is low and you have decent melee ratings you might go on the defense protecting your self while hoping to ware down your enemies a little more slowly. If you don't know which to pick go for normal which is equal defense and attack. Cheers.
