Hi Cara, You can say that again. I took over Raceway and Monte in March 2006 and it is now March 2008 and no completed projects. Everytime I am getting ahead and about to tie things up something goes wrong or there is some drastic technology change that can effect the projects down the road. Not the least of which Microsoft announced last spring that DirectX as we know it will slowly be phased out in favor of the XNA framework for XBox 360 consoles. I understand the move, but it still sucks lemons. Especially, since every developer who is anyone has come to depend on DirectX as a core technology of PC games. However, on the bright side I did a poll late last year, and most blind gamers were not all that interested in making the change to Windows Vista. So our core target market for accessible games is going to be Windows XP users for the near and foreseeable future. So perhaps targeting XP and Vista for now might not be a devistating issue after all. After all DirectX isn't going to drie up over night, and I am probably worrying about something that won't happen for a few years yet.
