Hi Louis, I recently upgraded to using the same open source TCP API that LightTech are using which simulates the WinSock ActiveX mswinsck.ocx file, but which is more stable and of course, contains the source code, which in turn uses the standard windows TCP API. I have been looking at the source code to see how the TCP data buffers are handled, but even then that isn't really telling me much. The only thing I can guess is that most Win32API stuff tends to use the null terminator (character 0), so whether it uses that, I can only guess. Regards, Damien
