I must say, these days when I play it, my vector theory comes in handy, but I've been playing lonewolf long before I did physics. It's just a matter of logic.

It my just be my rather pants sense of spacial location and direction I think. In shades or something along those lines it's possible to do that via sound, ----- but in Lw it seems you really! need to have a good instant grasp of basic geometry and angles to work out the best firing solutions.
