Hi Damien, Yeah, it is called realism. Logically if Angela's hands were full holding a shotgun, pistol, sword, or something she couldn't jump up and climb a rope. Especially, if she wants to climb hand over hand up the rope. With something like a torch I suppose she could theoretically put it between her teeth while she climbs, but she would still have to put her guns away in order to free up her hands for climbing.
