Problem is I've never really understood how those work. That and the last time I tried playing an Interactive Fiction game it ran incredibly slow on my laptop. And that was Eamon Deluxe. Sad because I really enjoyed that game on the Apple 2E.

Softporn is also an if game. You can play it using the frotz or any similar if interpreter.

The one that has me intrigued was the game Erik Weihenmayer mentions in his autobiography. I don't know if that's what the actual title was but he refers to it as Soft Porn. But the premise was that you were a character roaming the streets of a Los Vegas-like city trying to impress some hot babes. There were a lot of things you could do that would either move you closer to your goal or get you killed. I seem to recall there was one instance where if you didn't give one of the girls a nice ring her brother would come out and beat you to a pulp with a metal pipe. The same thing would happen if you didn't give another girl some flowers. But I seem to recall this game written for something like the Apple 2E computer, which would therefore have meant the Echo synthesizer. That must've been quite the listen. "Ooh. Ah. Ooh. Ah. Oo baby. Oo baby. Ah." All spoken in that horrible robotic voice. When I got to that part of the story I probably laughed every bit as hard as Erik and his friends did when they beat the game and got that ending.

Hi Jim,
Actually, there are a number of adult oriented games for the blind.
The AIF Community, Adult Interactive Fiction Community, has a number
of adult oriented text games which are accessible using Adrift, Frotz,
Scare, or one of the other interactive fiction interpretors. I know of
a couple of adult oriented games such as Last Week Before the Wedding
written by our very own co-moderator, Raul. I have played both of his
AIF games many times, and helped beta test Last Week Before the
Wedding. I also recall playing an extremely x-rated Tomb Raider text
adventure where Lara Croft is put in some extremely sexually explicit
situations, well, you get the idea. So, yes, there are several adult
games out there we can play besides your games like Spanker, TJS, and
so on.

Cheers!

Hi Charles,

How about Triple J Shooter, spanker the adult prizes in concentration and
the adult word list in Hangman.

That's all of them that I know of right off.
