Have you tried following this set of instructions for registering the driver? The read me file for the game has instructions for 64 bit windows, but these instructions should work for the 32 bit version. Put dx7vb.dll into the c:\windows\system32 folder. The file to copy can be found within the game's folder. After copying, open command prompt as an administrator. Go to c:\windows\system32 and type regsvr32 dx7vb.dll I hope this helps.
