the next version will add the new buildings to the buildings guide and also
have a jobs guide as well.
for now though, monks at the monastery can use cloth to create tomes of
knolidge that can then be used to upgrade various jobs.
I'm not sure how this works sinse thus far the monks I made just sat around
doing not much, though i believe Chris got it working.
for other additions though, now, taylers have been renamed weavers, sinse
they weave cloth. there is now a propper tayler job, ie someone who sews
cloth into clothes, and the tayler now makes cloaks.
cloaks are rather like swords and armour in that if there are cloaks at your
barracks, your soldiers can train to become rangers.
The war tent is used to go on raides, sinse in mission 2 rather than trying
to build a ship and sail away your trying to kick the yeti off their lands
and take it for yourselves. Once you have a war tent, hit backspace on it to
initiate an attack raide against the yeti. At that point max five of each
type of military unit will go off and attack. They'll be away for a while,
but once they get back you'll learn how many yeti they killed, and also if
any of them were killed in the fighting.
Then, there is the animal farm. This works like other farms, accept that you
contribute wheat from your wheat farm as animal feed, get meat from the farm
animals.
Apparently this is a steadier form of meat production, but personally I
never really saw the need sinse fishermen are now more effective, and that's
not even counting your hunters and butcher.

Hey Jeremy, glad to see your making so much progress on the game.
I downloaded the new version, which by the way says 1,9b on the website.
I went through the read me and building guide, and even listened to my
horrible SAPI voice re read how to play, but the read me mentions the
keystrokes for upgrading and sendin out a war party, but I don't see any
docs about what this entails, how you get tome's, what a war party
consists of, etc.
is there another doc file i'm missing somewhere?
Just want to make sure I understand what the deal is before I start a
new game, given the massive amounts of time involved, especially
considering the scale of mission 2's map..
if i missed an email to the list explaining this stuff, apologies for
that.
