Explorer 8 for a number of reasons.
First, as I mentioned in a prior e-mail it no longer uses MSAA on
Windows 7 but uses Microsoft's new accessibility U.I. framework which
not all screen readers support yet. This means accessibility is hit or
miss depending on how up to date your screen reader is etc.
Second, Internet Explorer 9 has a lot of stuff on the screen. Not just

of the major web browsers Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc all have multitab
web browsing so its not surprising Internet Explorer would add features
like that to compete with their competition.Unless someone is willing
to stick with I.E. 6 or 7 for the rest of their lives they'll have to
get use to the new U.I. sooner or later.
As for myself I don't use I.E. I've switched to Google Chrome because
it is A, very accessible, B, much faster, and C, the U.I. has a lot of
features packed into a simple user interface. Google is turning out to
be a great software developer, and seam willing enough to make their
products fairly accessible as they can. I guess what I like about
Chrome is its not bloated like I.E.
