Hi everyone, I'm sorry this isn't strictly audio game related, but yesterday I
got a new USB headset. It seemed to be working fine, but today I've started
having issues where I hear jaws through the headset, but computer sounds play
through the laptop speakers. I've checked in the control pannel and under
sounds and audio devices, I set playback and recording device to the headset
and saved the settings, but it doesn't seem to work. Could someone advise what
to do, it's almost as though it isn't connecting anymore, yet when I plug it in
I do hear a sound like some feedback letting me know it's trying to work. I'm
using windows xp on a laptop and have tried the headset in all the usb ports.
Also sometimes when I insert the usb cabel it brings up the found new hardware
wizard, so maybe it's something to do with the usb software. Hope someone can
help, i'm at the hair pulling out stage, as it failled just as I was smashing
zombies in Swamp. Thanks from Lori.
