Hi, no I can't find that anywhere, the only thing I can find with
communication on it is in accesseries, but that's all about network
connection.

Is there a device in your sound settings called communication headphones?
Mine has this on an HP laptop. What it does is as soon as you play audio
through it, only that audio will get rooted to what ever your default
device and everything else is directed away. In my case if I have
headphones plugged in and something used this device, all my windows
sounds and what ever else would go to my laptop's speakers.

of the book or movie will come out of the USB headphones, but my
screen reader, NVDA, will still be talking out of the laptop speakers.

shutdown and reboot Windows with the headphones plugged in and then
NVDA and everything else works as they are suppose to.
BTW, I'm running Windows 7 here on my laptop so the issue isn't just

haven't seen this problem on the desktop. Just my laptop running Win
7.
