Hi Darren.
To be honest the civ elements for me would be better in another game, one
with a structure more like castaways where events were far more randomized
and control indirect thus leading to very reactive decisions needed on the
part of the player rather than just trying to make the best setup and
leaving it to run as is the way with most stratogy outings unfortunately.

Myself, I'd love to see a space game based much more on detailed space
navigation, exploration, meeting alien races etc, sinse as yet we've not

Yes especially if there's a lot of open ended play, an extensive trading
system and the ability to place factories/bases etc.
