not sure but the astros on the iss do say that colours from earth and other stars are sharper, though its everything seen as several points. I guess if you were a standard person and looked at space you would say black but then we can't see all of space aparently from the ground even with a scope there is probably some article round nasa but I have not needed to search this.

To be honest I think this is a case of perspective. Someone born blind
such as yourself has no concept of black or white so the absence of
anything is simply blindness to you.

Now, for myself I was sighted for many years before losing my vision,
and although I can't see anything, including light, I would describe
it as seeing black. Technically a doctor might say an absolute absence
of color, but the closest I can compare my blindness to is the color
black since there are no other colors to perceive.
