My Leo's love to bask on top of their rock pile. Especially the gravid
females. The pile is a glued together, 4 story *apartment*. They use all
of the various caves, but mostly they bask on top. It got really hot here
this weekend (85F, sunny California) and their cage got warmer and for
the first time they used their *cool cave*. I have measured the temps
every where, and all are within the safe range. It gets to 90F on top of
the cave and stays in the 80's in the different compartments. I think it
is good to give the gex as many choices as possible with in their normal
temp range. After all there has to be some *personal* preference
involved.
