I recently purchased some slate rocks, an UTH, and
redid my gecko tanks. I had the male on a hot rock,
originally, until I could get the UTH. (I know they
are bad but I had no choice until I could get him an
under tank heater!) The females had an UTH, but they
had an adobe cave they refused to share with each
other. I replaced the adobe cave with rock caves...
but now they won't go in them! They are safe and
stationary... won't move! But they lay on top of them
under the heat lamp! The male goes in his, but then
comes out and lays on it's "roof" under the heat lamp
peeking out from behind a fake silk plant! This is
strange... any ideas, opinions, suggestions? Thanks!
