We're about a quarter mile back from the paved road. Cable (Charter) runs along the paved road, but they tell me we're too far back from the paved road to connect us, would charge us several hundred dollars to try, and it probably wouldn't work.
Any suggestions? It may be years before DSL makes it out here.
