This is beginning to sound interesting. Was planning to put an electric gate at the front, so I would need power for it. Could run some conduit underground from the trailer which is about 1/3 the way back from the road. Or battery and solar cells. We get plenty of sun around here; that is if I keep the vegetation cut back.
Phone at trailer comes in line buried a few inches under ground. At first they just drooped ordinary phone wire across the branches and brush. Next question, what more would I need to do to get cable TV back to the house? Would be nice to get a few local stations. Wonder if an ordinary wireless network system would go as much as 1/4 mile? If I have to sign up for cable, might as well get both broadband and TV. Choppy At 07:00 AM 10/12/02 -0500, Shannon wrote: >Well, I have a couple of ideas.
