With DirecTV DSL I used to have static IP (I canceled mine yesterday). With 
BellSouth DSL I believe you will get a dynamic IP.

I have decided to go with Geauxbox--- it's cheaper. I hope it is half as 
good as DSL. DirecTV DSL was awesome--- I never had problems. I wonder why 
they are going out of business. Too bad.......
