Hi Mat,

        I have no idea what the modem costs - I think Bellsouth hit us with a
$200 "cancelation fee" when we moved the work connection over to Eatel
so I'd guess it's somewhere in the $100-$200 range but
http://www.dsl-warehouse.com sells them for $350!  There's a review of
the Netgear RT314 at
http://www.pcextremes.com/reviews/networking/rt314/index.shtml - the
R314 seems to be discontinued but the RT311 ($99 on Amazon) is
basically the same thing but without the extra 100bT ports.

        Shiner Bock is about $6 a 6-pack at the local Winn Dixie (or 65c in
the right coke machine) - it's a medium dark "german" style beer
