256Kb upstream was the max for non-business level DSL in MN as well. If you wanted faster upstream than that you had to pay a ton of money (at least partly to cover the cost of more expensive gear/card at the head end). I really have no problem with that limit as I'm unlikely to move large files from home to work or to friends, etc. I did order the COX broadband last night and it should be installed by the time I get home from work tomorrow. I haven't played TFC, CS, or NS for over 10 weeks now and I'm about to have DTs from withdrawl.
