I'm curious if anyone has looked into cell phone service for a laptop? My brother-in-law and sister travel the country in their travel trailer, he's a mechanic on pipeline jobs, they are often looking for internet service with different trailer parks. He saw an offer from AT and T that he could buy a pcmcia card for his laptop then he could use that for internet service, the card would connect to cell towers like a regular cell phone. Does anyone have experience with this type of service? http://www.attwireless.com/personal/products/phones.jhtml?titleNumber=11 Nearly twice the speed of CDMA 1xRTT. Average data speeds 100 - 130 Kbps. I'm not sure where the plans are listed, but the number that's on that link is $79.99/month. BB
