I agree that many people think like this. I know you got someone else mad at 
you, but the reality is that most people simply DON'T CARE --- they just want 
their computers to work. That said, I have had success making quite a number 
of people understand the freedom aspect of Linux, as well as the monetary and 
technical superiority side of the equation.
