IBM used to say the same thing until Lou Gerstner took over as CEO in the early 90's. He stopped concentrating on moving hardware boxes out of the warehouse, and started concentrating on moving money into the bank. No longer is IBM the unprofitable, bloated, struggling corporation it was 12 years ago. They're a major sofware company now, and i think IBM Global Services in the largest consultant company in the world. Maybe Apple should take a hint.
