I agree. And a lot of companies bet major parts of their business on Itanium (SGI, HP), and also flopped. I also hope Intel loses. Their company has good technology, but i wouldn't doubt the strongarm tactics that the suit alleges for one second. Remember, they are half of the Wintel monopoly. We buy mostly Dell desktop and IBM servers. I would not hesitate buying an AMD desktop from Dell. IBM does have an AMD-based server, but clearly their x86 product line is still dominated by Intel. Hopefully this changes. ray -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ray DeJean http://www.r-a-y.org Systems Engineer Southeastern Louisiana University IBM Certified Specialist AIX Administration, AIX Support =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
