AD works. As does eDirectory. As does LDAP via OpenLDAP. (Although you have very few features with OpenLDAP.) As does LDAP with CA's DXserver. (Lots of features.)
They have AD. They have UNIX. We are going to tie them together and make management easier. There is another client that has a very large AD infrastructure and we are only going to loosely tie together the AD-side with the UNIX/LDAP side. We will see. --- Puryear Information Technology, LLC Baton Rouge, LA * 225-706-8414 http://www.puryear-it.com Author of "Best Practices for Managing Linux and UNIX Servers" Download your free copy: http://www.puryear-it.com/bestpractices.htm ----- Original Message ----- From: "Will Hill" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 5:05 PM Subject: Re: [brlug-general] Hard disk recovery > What's the goal?
