Hi
If you have set up the TCP connection between the Amiga and PC Ok you can
check this by pinging the PC from the Amiga and you should get a message
comfirming 0% packet loss.
The easey way to link the Amiga to the internet via the PC is to use a HTTP
server on the PC. An example is "EasyProxy" you can get it from
Windows95.com its freeware.
Set up your application on the Amiga to use a HTTP proxy, eg AWeb II in
networks enter the address of your PC on your network and the default Port
number which for EasyProxy is 88
An example is: 192.168.0.1:88
I run this setup with Siamese with no problems. If you setup the PC to auto
dail then the Amiga browser will also dial via the PC on demand.
regards
Pete M
