That's a MAC address for the computer I was trying to ping FROM his computer.

Sometimes it got the MAC, and sometimes not.

Thanks all for your help... I'm going to just crash now and see if I
can get it running in the morning.  Too late to think about it now :-)

I'll let you know if I have better luck later.
