Is there a problem placing gerbils tanks, with breeding pairs, right next to
each other on the same shelf? The long side of the tanks would be next to
each other.
Janet
I've never had any problems keeping tanks next to each other. I have my
tanks side by side, not end to end. I have tanks of males next to tanks of
females,, also next to tanks of breeding pairs,, and even tanks of hamsters
and spiny mice, degu's and guinea pigs. For awhile now, I have had 18 tanks
in the critter room. Thankfully today the hamsters went to a new home. I am
now down to 16 tanks.
Some people have reported problems with tanks being next to each other. I
think Tana had to keep a cage in a separate room to avoid fighting.
Hopefully I will never have to do that! I've got to many tanks to go
spreading them through out the house. :o)
