I'm working on the Gerbil Rideshare Project, which is to send
gerbils around via legal methods.
Most of the commercial carriers will not as well. I am exhausting
all avenues...UPS is a no. FedEX is a no. Airborne Express, which
does do human tissue and other items of that sort, I am still talking
to. As well as Greyhound.
Plus we are trying to set up a rideshare relay; where if someone
is going from one place to another, they take a few kritter keepers
of gerbils with them for the ride. Similar to a program at the college
I went to, so people with little money and no car could share a lift
with someone going that way and help out with gas, for getting
to and from home on breaks and that.
I am also making sure on the legalities...such as California does
not allow gerbils into the state at all. They are illegal there.
Website should be up shortly.
