Hi,
our 1 1/2 year old gerbil Blink had a scent gland tumor removed
today.
We discovered it 2 days ago, made an appointment for today and
the veterinarian kept him there to do the surgery the same day.
He is at home now, on paper towels with a heating pad under part
of his cage.
So far he hasn't eaten anything and is trying to find a
comfortable position to sleep in.
Does anyone have any further advice about what to do or not to do
over the next few days?
The vet only said to watch the wound and bring him back if
anything opens up.
