Further to G. Kenney's recent posting on the withdrawal of the Internet
connection by the government owned telecommunications operator I wish to
suggest that this matter should be brought to the attention of InfoDev
at the World Bank. The InfoDev Program could accommodate interim funding
for Internet access. I believe that the current Application deadline is
end of May, hence prompt action will be required. This writer is willing
to offer free assistance for the preparation of such an Application.
