 Would it be reasonable for the installer to look for gcc/etc. already
 installed, and if it doesn't find them, say "Please insert your OS X
 install CD/DVD so we can first install the developer tools, which are
 needed by GHC."  And when the disc is inserted, automatically start the
 appropriate installer and wait for it to successfully finish before
 continuing with installing ghc. (really two questions: can that be done,
 and is it a good enough user experience?  Should we assume everyone
 running OS X has convenient access to their install discs?)
