No, it's not you.

There is really no underlying natural forcing that should be causing
the observed warming.

Natural emissions are roughly in balance with natural sinks. Although
this balance is imperfect on even the longest time scales, it is
sufficient that the anthropogenic spike in CO2 has no precedent.
