I reported on my own power loss earlier and the steps taken to try and
correct the problem. I flew the plane back to my home airport a couple of
weeks ago without incident.

Based on the several comments about plugged vents on the fuel caps, I
checked my header tank cap. It was pretty plugged up with dirt and tree
pollen. I don't know if this happened before I flew back to my home base
or if the recent dusting of tree pollen has just now created the problem.
Most likely the vent was partially plugged before I relocated, which would
explain the last problem I experienced, but that doesn't explain why it
flew fine back to the hanger. Maybe it was a combination of partially
plugged vent and slight hump in the fuel line. Maybe, maybe, maybe---still
nothing definite and I'm running out of fixes to make.

I would suggest that everyone check their fuel vent caps. It took some
effort to get it cleaned out. In fact, at first I couldn't even determine
that it was plugged-up. A piece of safety wire didn't open it up. I
finally used a blast of water and some air pressure. I kept at it until
I was able to blow water through the vent by mouth.
