whatsoever.......  Its a sight gauge that we secured to the top of the
fuel cap after the old gauge broke.  It has a rubber cap on the top of it
that I could just take off, that would allow venting... 




Matt;    I think you have found the problem with your engine. The header
tank must be vented in order for the fuel to properly flow to the
carburetor. Where did you obtain this new fuel gauge? I know the ones from
Skyport have vent holes drilled in them. If you still have the old gauge,
put it back on for a test flight. I think you will find the problem
solved. Then return the new fuel cap and exchange it for one that is
vented.
