At which location your seemingly minor assets seem to go rather a long way. Of course you have to learn French or Spanish or some creole of the above. Of course, to fly your 'Coupe from the local airstrip you have to pay the local 'Transportation Secretary' a bribe of $USD1000/year. But that's okay, because it covers the Grumman Goose you use to fly tourists to a neighboring island. You can still visit 'home' with just your sandals and the clothes on your back. Which they can take if they want to satisfy the judgement that you weren't there to see entered against you. Why do you think that the US has no more cruise ship industry, and that the 'Love Boat' is either of Panamanian, Bahamian, or Liberian registry?
