John, John.  I'm gonna be the first to tell ya.  Fix Dem Baffles!  Mine
had a
half an inch gap around `em.  I put new seals on `em, and my temp's been
just peachy.  Take the cowl off, patch the metal parts so they can last
another fifty years, and put seal stuff around `em all the way - sides,
back
and front.  Be sure the seal material curls around towards the INSIDE of
the top plenum.
   Then let us know.
