I will just say that I receive several hundred emails a day and I send usually a dozen or more every day. I am a reseacher/writer and the information I send to my clients must be as readable and "clean" as possible. That means articles, factoids and images I have scraped from the internet must be presented as much as possible without extraneous links, images or text. This involves some basic editing, and until now it has been economical for me to do this editing within the compose window, because basic text tools were visible. Now they are not.
Yes as a textual artist I still have the full palette. Its just that you have put a lid on it that I must open every time I need a new color. Perhaps now I will have to edit in Word and then paste into my Gmail message? That too is work around. Google had a good start with Writely. They could put Writely into my "compose experience" and I think it would be wonderful. For a desktop user like me, of course. For a phone user all those power text tools might cramp the "space" a bit. So how about we have a power users option incorporating Writely (using the current version as a platform) and lets call this new one the mobile version. have a peaceful day, Bill On Sat, Mar 16, 2013 at 9:34 AM, Marko Vukovic <[email protected]>wrote: > Hi Bill > > There are some keyboard shortcuts that may help here.
