Bobbymac, I'm probably misunderstanding what it is that you're looking for but could what you need be satisfied by creating a Quick Link? If you can express the search/filter criteria in the search bar at the top of the screen and perform that search, then click "Add Quick Link" in the left sidebar and it will add that link to the sidebar.
