What i meant is that there is a difference between a) creating manually a filter for a specific case (which from then on will be automatic, yes) ; b) choosing the Google categories (Social, Promotions, Updates, Forums) and have that system of filtering take care of a maximum of cases. > Plus I don't think there is a way to "apply a filter". > Not being a native english speaker, the expression may be wrong. There is also another link : the lab feature (which i need so mucho mucho) that makes it possible to create labels that will show in the list of labels, but will act as filters, the same way the recent inbox tabs do.
