I'm with IBM and can certainly get the latest code and probably a machine (if
needed). For that matter I can get anything we (IBM) is involved with. I'm watching
and will help out all I can. My biggest problem is that I travel a lot.
I strongly second the KISS.
I like the idea of perhaps showing some installations and definately a few demo's.
My only caution is that we are not a trade show. Somehow we have to clearly show our
mission while focusing on being a user group.
Also, on WINE, and not to bash M$ (I do that plenty elsewhere), WINE is fighting an
uphill battle. As a long time proponent of OS/2 I know that M$ will, and has,
released 'fixes' to their operating system (Hmmm, is that what Windows is? ;-))
specifically designed to break others implementations.
